The influence of public banking on the economic growth of a región
Main Article Content
Abstract
Every country manages an economy, made up of various actors that can be families, companies and public or private organizations, with the purpose of generating profits to satisfy their needs and in turn have part of those profits for savings or investment. The general objective of this research is to evaluate the influence of public banking on the economic growth of a country. The methodology used uses documentary and bibliographic research. The results were based on knowing the role of public banks, their decision to finance companies, financing companies, knowing the functions of public development banks, and analyzing some experiences of public development banks in Latin America. As a conclusion, it can be determined that the financial entities of the State, following certain policies established by the government and by international entities, as is the case of the Sustainable Development Goals of ALIDE, allow certain risk aspects to be taken into account. Private Banking does not consider acceptable for the granting of credits or any financial support necessary for the economic improvement of a region and that regardless of its role is extremely important for the development of a country, at a social, economic, environmental, and political level, as that provides benefits for those groups in society that scarcely saw the possibility of obtaining financing because they did not have a long-standing accounting history, or because they were smaller companies.
